New Collections Hit Paris

Elie Saab unveiled his new collection in Paris today and proved that fantasy brides are here to stay.

His collection featured gowns covered in all kinds of bling...sequins, beads and more.

Even French actress Melanie Laurent said she was checking out some gowns for possible red carpet appearances.

According to writer Jenny Barchfield, "Saab's collection was heavier on the frou-frou — bubbling over with wispy ostrich feathers, fluttering silk flowers and baubles..."

I am just happy to hear that the new economy hasn't crushed creativity for future recession brides. Seriously...I know we need to be cautious, not overspend and be reasonable with our weddings only we can have some fun too! We have waited just as long as everyone else to get married so let's have fun...sure save money and cut corners where you can only we all deserve to have the day we have dreamed about.

If one more person tells me...how wasteful I am being, how rude we are being for having a destination wedding or how much our wedding is making them angry...I might just have to really show them the definition of bridezilla.

I've been thinking I want a chic sheath dress but that Saab is amazing!

P.S. I don't understand the preoccupation with budgets. Yes it might be frivolous to spend this money on a day but it is my money. I'm not asking you to agree with me but do not berate me either! Grr.

1) Elie Saab gowns make me swoon

2) It's your wedding, your day and your choices. That is all you need to remember.

Have a good day!
